A win last week against Hamilton moved the Jeffs in a three-way tie for first place in the NESCAC West standings along with Wesleyan and Williams, giving the Little Three rivalry a whole new dynamic. Having just secured the top spot, the Jeffs will now be immediatey challenged to see if they can hold on to it with a series of games against Williams.

Kay as always will be the Jeffs’ ace Alex Chang-Graham ’10. Last season she dominated Williams, a feat she will hopefully repeat this year.First-year Carly Dudzik is key to the offense, leading the team in batting average and RBIs. Also key offensively is two-time all NESCAC first team center fielder Jackie Tyler ’10, third in batting average and RBIs.

Williams is led by offensive powerhouses Joey Lye ’09 and Morgan Simpson ’09. Ly bats .584 and just broke the Ephs’ all-time hits record. Meanwhile Simpson leads the team with 22 RBIs.
